Diabetes Research
Doctors and scientists are always looking further alternative healing
methods. The most common way of controlling diabetes (aside from diet) is
insulin. For many, taking a needle before or after every meal isn't that
appealing. Diabetic Research is constantly being conducted trying to find new
ways of giving the body the nutrients and medication it needs.
Recently a wide
selection of pills have been introduced to the market. These medications will
work best for people with Type 2 Diabetes who have had high blood sugar for less
than ten years and are at a normal weight. However, it is not uncommon for oral
medications to control blood sugar levels well for years and then just stop
working.
In some cases, diabetics who begin treatment with oral medications will
eventually need to take insulin.
